Christmas 2025
We adopted several children ages 0-18yrs from the Louisiana National Guard Child and Youth Program's Operation Christmas Angels. We are putting on a toy drive for the entire month of November 2025 to aid in providing toys for these children. If we meet the wish / need lists of these children, with time remaining, we will adopt more.
ALL ITEMS donated will support Louisiana Army and Air Guard members who have registered for Operation Christmas Angels.
All toys and items provided must be new and unwrapped.
When?
We will be collecting items from Nov 1st - Nov 30th.
***All online orders must arrive by Dec 2nd.
Where?
As the toy drive ended 11/30/2025, all drop off locations are closed on Sunday and for toy drop offs.

What items are we accepting?
Items must be new and unwrapped. Ages 0-18.

Stocking stuffers for all ages (We love dollar tree finds!!)
Multiplication workbooks / school workbooks
All size diapers & baby wipes (no scent)
Football, soccer ball & basketball
White socks all sizes
We've compiled Amazon and Walmart lists to help facilitate lists that were given to us. They will be updated frequently! The clothing and any educational items requested are needed, toys are the ones specifically wanted (if provided). All items would ship directly to Books for Boots and then be delivered to LANG CYP office in Baton Rouge in December. These lists will be updated if we adopt more children! ***All online orders must have a delivery date of Dec 2.

*****You do NOT have to purchase from these lists. If you have new unwrapped items to donate, please email melissa@booksforboots.org for a pick up before 12/2/2025.
What's next?
As we compile items, we will sort them according to the wish lists provided by the children. We will deliver all to LANG SMFP/ CYP by early December.
Other Options:
You can adopt a child for Christmas directly through LANG’s Child and Youth Program. Please see the flyers below for more information. Monetary donations can’t be accepted; however, Wal-Mart gift cards are acceptable.
