Supporting Christmas Angels - Christmas Toy Drive 2026

For the second year in a row, Books for Boots is proud to partner with the Louisiana National Guard Child & Youth Program's Operation Christmas Angels to help bring the magic of Christmas to military children and families across Louisiana!

We have adopted several military children, ages 0–18, through this special program and are hosting a toy drive from October 19th through November 2026 to help fulfill their Christmas wishes. Our goal is not only to provide gifts for the children we have adopted but also to help bring Christmas joy to additional military children and families participating in the program.

Operation Christmas Angels supports Louisiana Army and Air National Guard families, helping ensure their children experience the excitement and magic of Christmas. Through the generosity of our community, we hope to ease some of the holiday burden on these military families while reminding them that their service and sacrifices are appreciated.

All donated gifts will directly support Louisiana Army and Air National Guard families registered for Operation Christmas Angels.

Donation Requirements: All toys and gifts must be NEW and UNWRAPPED. Gifts are welcome for children of all ages, from infants through teenagers (0–18 years).

Together, we can make the holidays a little brighter for the children of those who serve!

We will be collecting items from October 18th - Nov 30th.

***All online orders must arrive by Nov 30th.

 We've compiled an Amazon wish list to help facilitate lists that were given to us. It will be updated frequently! The clothing and any educational items requested are needed, toys are the ones specifically wanted (if provided). All items would ship directly to Books for Boots and then be delivered to LANG CYP office in Baton Rouge in early December. ***All online orders must have a delivery date of Nov 30.

*****You do NOT have to purchase from the Amazon list. If you have new unwrapped items to donate, please drop off at a location mentioned above or email melissa@booksforboots.org for a pick up before 11/30/2026.

 As we compile items, we will sort them according to the wish lists provided by the children. We will deliver all to LANG SMFP/ CYP by early December. 

 You can adopt a child for Christmas directly through LANG’s Child and Youth Program. Please see the flyers below for more information. Monetary donations can’t be accepted; however, Wal-Mart gift cards are acceptable.
